Abstract
Objective: to analyze the occurrences of cardiopulmonary arrest, attended by the Mobile Emergency Service (SAMU) of Teresina in 2016. This is a descriptive, documentary and retrospective analysis, with a quantitative approach. SAMU, from the year 2016. The data were analyzed using Microsoft Excel software and a descriptive analysis of the data was carried out, using graphs and tables.The results show a predominance of CRP in male victims, when the age group has a higher occurrence in victims aged 60 years or more, in relation to the area with the highest occurrence, the south area leads in 24%, as for the procedures performed shows whereas, 65% were submitted to CPR, oxygen 21%, venous access 27% and medication 57%, as for the outcomes of CRP, about 85% of the victims died. It is important to highlight the importance of properly filling out pre-hospital care forms, being one of the greatest difficulties encountered by the researcher, since all the information is of great relevance to the study and subsequently the improvement of the service.
