Abstract
The phase-field method is an effective means for simulation of solidification microstructure, being the investigation hot spots at home and abroad by now.The application of phase-field method to numerical simulation of solidification propagation process of pure substance is investigated. The simulation of nickel dendritic propagation is performed by means of selecting various overcooling degrees and anisotropic coefficients. Finally, the propagation of side branched crystalline is simulated by employing unbalanced disturbance mode. The simulation result shows that the overcooling degrees and anisotropic intensity should be considered in couples, and there is no effect of unbalanced disturbance on the speed of tip growth during the simulation process.
