CT demenstration of pulmonary sclerosing hemangioma

Objective To study the CT demenstration of pulmonary sclerosing hemangioma(PSH) and improve the accuracy of diagnosis.Methods 12 cases with pulmonary sclerosing hemangioma confirmed pathologically were retrospectively analyzed.Results PSH was round nodule or mass with clear margin and was located in the left lung.2 cases had calcification and 1 case showed both air meniscus sign and ground-glass opacities.Most lesions were obviously enhanced and vascular notch symptom was observed in 2 cases.Conclusion When an isolated pulmonary nodular or mass is observed in a middle-aged woman with obviously enhanced clear margin and air meniscus sign,pulmonary sclerosing hemangioma should be preferentially considered.
