Advances in Research into Lipid Regulators

Abnormal lipid metabolism is a risk factor in atherosclerosis and coronary heart diseases.The increasing of the serum TC, TG,LDL-C,VLDL-C,LP(a)is positively correlated with coronary heart disease.But the increasing of HDL-C is negatively correlated with coronary heart diseases.Lipid regulators reduce blood lipids by controlling lipid metabolism,thereby reducing the incidence of cardiovascular diseases.All along,lipid-lowering drugs are lowering blood lipids through certain targets.In recent years,people discovered several new drug targets.By researching on these new targets,reseachers can develop more effective drugs to make contributions to human health.
