In situ construction of biomass derived 3D carbon framework for efficient electromagnetic interference shielding and Joule heating performance
CHEMICAL ENGINEERING JOURNAL(2024)
摘要
The rapid development of highly integrated electronic devices urgently requires multifunctional materials with outstanding electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding performance. Herein, an integrated three-dimensional (3D) carbon framework is fabricated by encapsulating nickel nanoparticles into N-doped carbon nanotubes in situ grown in carbonized wood (Ni@NCNT-CW). The obtained Ni@NCNT-CW possesses ultra-efficient EMI shielding performance of 83.24 dB at X-band because of the synergetic interaction of the integrated hierar-chically porous structure and consecutively conductive path. Simultaneously, the Ni@NCNT-CW exhibits self -extinguishing and excellent joule heating performance. This work highlights the great potentials of this facile strategy for in-situ preparation of cost-effectively integrated carbon framework based on natural wood for effi-cient EMI shielding and electrothermal conversion.
