Research on Variable Temperature Reflectivity Measurement System of Stealth Coating

In this paper, a measurement system for reflectivity of stealth coating in variable temperature environment is proposed to study the microwave absorbing properties of stealth coating at different temperatures. The system can heat the lower surface of the stealth coating from room temperature to 500 °C, and the system is equipped with two ultra-wideband double ridged horn antennas, which can be used to test the microwave reflectivity of the stealth coating in the 2–18 GHz frequency band. The system measured the reflectivity of the stealth coating at 50 °C, 100 °C, 300 °C and 500 °C respectively. The results show that the reflectivity will gradually decrease when the temperature of the stealth coating increases, and its wave absorption performance will deteriorate.
