Heat Dissipation Design based on Porous Medium Structure for Gyro-TWT Collector

A study of the gyro-TWT collector with porous medium heat dissipation structure has been presented. In the design, a lot of rings with good thermal conductivity were used to fill the heat dissipation area, which was forming the porous medium structure. Cooling water flows through the channels formed by the gap to cool collector. The simulation results indicated that the structure collector was able to achieve higher power capacity.
