摘要
Eutectic composites are self-organized materials which exhibit intriguing electromagnetic properties, leading to new possibilities with respect to the constituent materials. Here we investigate emission properties in ZnO{###} $\text{ZnWO}_{4}$ eutectic; this self-organized material consists of ZnO lamellae specially oriented with respect to the biaxial $\text{ZnWO}4$ matrix. The sample is fabricated by means of the micro-pulling-down $(\mu-\text{PD})$ [1],[2], resulting in $\approx 240$ nm ZnO lamellae, embedded in a fairly regular manner in the $\text{ZnWO}_{4}$ matrix (inset in Fig. 1(a)). A strong exciton emission at room temperature in the blue range previously confirmed the high quality and crystallinity of the ZnO phase.
