A Novel Auxiliary Resonant Pole Soft-Switching Inverter with Simple Control

In order to simplify the structure and control logic of resonant pole inverters, this paper presents a novel auxiliary resonant pole inverter with simple control. Each phase of the auxiliary commutation circuit of the inverter includes only one auxiliary switch, which can be controlled by the PWM pulse of the fixed duty cycle, which greatly simplifies the control logic of soft switching. The main switches of this circuit can realize zero voltage zero current switching (ZVZCS) turn-on and pseudo-zero voltage switching (ZVS) turn-off, while auxiliary switches can realize pseudo-zero current switching (ZCS) turn-on and pseudo-zero voltage switching (ZVS) turn-off. In this paper, the working modes and parameter design method of the circuit are analyzed. Finally, the correctness of the inverter design is verified by simulation analysis.
