Survey on Prevention of DDoS Using Blockchain

Distributed Denial-of-Service is a kind of cyber-attack where the offender tends to attack a system or a server inaccessible to valid users by briefly interrupting the host's request connected to the network. In this type of Denial of service, the server is usually accomplished with the help of flooding the target from different sources. This causes the intended to not access their needs, thereby causing the server's downfall. In recent times, Blockchain has been seen as a promising technology for the prevention of DDoS. This survey provides and analyses a detailed review and various approaches for mitigation of DDoS by using Blockchain as software.
