Renewable energy power optimization control strategy based on online multiple renewable energy stations short-circuit ratio

With the rapid development of renewable energy power generation in the XM area of a regional power grid, the renewable energy access problem is getting more and more serious. First, this paper analyzes that the multiple renewable energy stations short-circuit ratio (MRSCR) mainly constrains the wind power utilization capacity in the XM area. Second, an optimization scheme for the renewable energy power control strategy based on online MRSCR is proposed. In this scheme, the ultra-short-term forecast data of wind farms are used to calculate online MRSCR which can realize optimal control in future moments. When the MRSCR of some wind farms does not meet the requirements, the relevant wind farm’s power generation capacity will be reduced according to the optimization control methods until the MRSCR is qualified. Furthermore, two optimization control methods are proposed. An optimal control method based on the wind farm power reduction principle is proposed by considering the influence of wind farm short-circuit capacity and power generation prediction bias. Another optimal control method based on optimization calculation is proposed by considering the minimum overall adjustment cost. Combined with the case analysis of the XM area, the rationality of the optimal control methods of renewable energy power proposed in this paper is verified. The proposed methods are effective in improving MRSCR and improving the renewable energy utilization capacity.
