Abstract
Industrial structure adjustment, frequent extreme weather and other reasons have profoundly changed the load characteristics of the power grid, bringing new challenges to the power supply. Among all kinds of power load, residential load, as an important part of the social electricity power consumption, has become an important reason for the power grid load repeatedly reaching new highs in summer and winter, and is also the key point of load prediction. Based on residential load data from Chengdu, this paper conducts a deep analysis on the relationship between residential load and temperature under extreme weather of summer, as well as the correlation between cooling power load, meteorological factors and economic development level in summer. The research of this paper is helpful to realize the refined forecast of power demand under extreme weather condition in Sichuan province.
