摘要
This paper compares and simulates the Cyber-Physical Power System (CPPS) cascading failures development under catastrophic extreme condition and puts forward UPFC based risk mitigation strategy. The interrelationship between natural disasters and the notable increasing of grids load is analyzed. With the natural disaster condition, initial faults have obvious geographic clustering characteristics, the differences of the cascading failures vulnerability curves of different load states are mainly reflected in the initial fault interval corresponding to the inflection point of the curve step. Compared with the normal load state, the system runs close to the limit state under heavy load state, and the cascading failures vulnerability curves present more significant first-step failure transition and step-like failure transition characteristics. At last, the efficiency of the proposed mitigation strategy is calculated and verified by simulating various scenarios with and without the mitigation strategy.
