Comprehensive Optimization Method for Grid Splitting Surface and Control Strategy

Splitting control is the last line of defense for power grid security. In order to solve the problem that the splitting device cannot operate quickly and reliably and the grid cannot maintain stable operation after splitting, a comprehensive optimization method of grid splitting surface and control strategy is proposed. Firstly, taking Sichuan power grid as the practical application scenario, the problems existing in the current splitting scheme are analyzed, and the comprehensive optimization analysis is carried out from the two dimensions of splitting control rapidity and splitting surface selection. The splitting optimization scheme is formulated for the actual power grid and verified by simulation. The results show that the proposed splitting optimization method can not only isolate the fault quickly, but also guarantee the stable operation of the grid after splitting to the maximum extent.
