Optimal Reconfiguration of Distribution Network With DPV Considering Demand Response

Abstract
As an adjustable resource, demand response can also participate in the optimal operation of the distribution network. After the implementation of demand response, the load demand of each node will change at different times, which will affect the reconstruction of the distribution network. Therefore, this paper proposes a method for reconfiguration considering demand response in the distribution network with DPV access. Firstly, with the goal of minimizing the comprehensive operation cost, (including line loss cost, power purchase cost, photovoltaic curtailment cost, microturbine fuel cost and demand response compensation cost), a collaborative optimization model of switch and demand response is established. Secondly, the model is linearized using the second-order-cone relaxation. Then, by comparing the comprehensive network operation cost in different operation cases to quantify the impact of demand response on the distribution network reconfiguration optimization. Finally, the method is verified by the modified IEEE 33 node system, which proves the effectiveness of the proposed model.
