摘要
Transformer oil is widely used as an insulating and cooling medium in electrical equipment, and Long-term work at high temperatures results in cracking, which generates many small molecule products that accumulate heat and cause fires, therefore, the study of pyrolysis related process and theory is of great significance to prevent and inhibit fire. Based on the kinetic theory of thermal analysis, this paper studied the pyrolysis process of KI50X transformer oil at different temperature rise rates (10, 20 and 40°C/min) using a simultaneous thermogravimetric analyzer, and found that the pyrolysis process mainly occurred at 200~350°C. As the temperature rise rate increased, the thermogravimetric curve and the micro-quotient thermogravimetric curve moved towards the high temperature side, and then the activation energy of transformer oil was calculated using the differential method and the integral method, the calculation results show that: the thermal decomposition process of transformer oil is a single-step reaction, the activation energy obtained by using different calculation methods is slightly different, and the activation energy of transformer oil is 42.19kJ/mol after averaging.
