Research on configuration optimization of integrated energy system considering equipment nonlinearity

The integrated energy system has clear economic, energy-saving, and environmental benefits and is considered an important approach to achieve the dual-carbon strategy. Optimizing the capacity of each component in the integrated energy system is crucial in determining its overall performance. However, existing studies often simplify the equipment characteristics through linearization, which affects the optimization results. To overcome this, this paper presents a configuration optimization method for the integrated energy system that considers the non-linear characteristics of the equipment. The method is based on a hierarchical solution structure derived from multi-energy flow balance calculations, making the non-linear optimization easier. The effectiveness of the method is demonstrated through comparisons with traditional configuration optimization methods.
