摘要
In recent years, considerable attention has been given to developing and investigating novel techniques for transmission of high-speed data in FSO networks and improving the spectral and transmission efficiency. This work proposes a $4\lambda\times 100$ Gbps integrated single mode fiber (SMF)-free space optics (FSO) transmission system utilizing wavelength-division-multiplexing (WDM) of 4-distinct DP-32 level-QAM signals. The proposed system’s transmission is analyzed for research precision and varying environmental factors. The results have been computed by employing bit error rate, constellation, and error vector magnitude of the received signals. 400 Gbps data communication ranging from 600 m – 5 km based on the external weather conditions has been reported. Moreover, the proposed WDM-DP-32-QAM based SMF-FSO transmission has been analyzed for Chandigarh city conditions and reliable 2750 m transmission is reported. These types of transmission are beneficial for sustainable cities like Chandigarh and for research and development.
