Optimization of Energy Storage Resources in 5G Base Stations Considering Operation Reliability

摘要
With the development of 5G technology and smart grid, the load fluctuation in the distribution networks is aggravated and the operation cost in the 5G base stations increases. It is necessary to consider the interaction between the distribution networks and the 5G mobile networks. In this paper, a collaborative optimization framework based on the Stackelberg game is proposed. The distribution networks operator acts as the leader, which guide the demand response of 5G base station groups by dynamic electricity prices in purpose of reducing the load fluctuation. The 5G base station group acts as follower, which actively adjust the charge and discharge strategy of energy storage to minimize electricity costs while ensuring reliability of power supply, which improves the overall operation revenue.
