3-D Stray Loss Evaluation of Structural Component under Harmonic and DC-Biased Magnetization by Harmonic-Balanced Method
2023 IEEE International Magnetic Conference - Short Papers (INTERMAG Short Papers)(2023)
Abstract
Considering the anisotropic property of magnetic materials, the 3-D harmonic-balanced finite element method combined with the fixed-point technique is proposed and applied for simulating the TEAM P21
e
model. TEAM P21
e
is a model extended from the TEAM Problem 21 benchmark family for studying the stray loss of magnetic and non-magnetic components operating under the hybrid excitation of harmonics and DC-bias. The calculated results including leakage magnetic field as well as stray loss of components are compared with the measurement results of the set-up TEAM P21
e
experiment platform. The investigation provides a new scheme for simulating the 3-D stray loss model of the large-scale power transformer in the harmonic domain.
