Abstract
This paper presents a simple design for magnetic field energy harvesting. Drawbacks of the free-stand harvester are the limitation of the harvesting power and production cost. Although several researchers proposed magnetic core designs with a magnetic concentration technique, it makes the production cost high. First, the simple design of the harvester is explained with three key points. According to the previous reports, the target value of magnetic field to be harvested is set to 7 μT at 50 Hz. Example values of the estimated harvesting power and induced voltage are 5.57 mW and 7.84 V, respectively. This simple design could be the mass production cost in low.
