This paper presents the design and development of a 3D-printred dual lens structure that is used to enhance the gain of mmWave radar systems with series-fed antenna arrays. The design is based on a hyperbolic lens structure that is modified to accommodate the series-fed array with frequency dependent beam direction. The goal of the design is to focus the main beam of the antenna in one direction through the whole 77GHz band while providing gain enhancement. The design was created and simulated using Ansys HFSS and then 3D-printed using Raise3D Pro2 printer with a PLA filament. The lens performance was verified using TI AWR2243 radar board for a remote material characterization application.
