Abstract
We present results of numerical analysis of impulse radiating antennas with four and six feeding arms, with and without resistive matching networks. The antennas are excited using differentiated Gaussian pulses of different durations. The analysis of radiated pulses show that for certain short-pulse excitations, resistive matching networks can be omitted, and that using six arms instead of four can be advantageous.
