Abstract

In this paper, we propose a determination method of IRS reflection patterns using Radio Environment Map (REM). We predict the locations of users from the time series data of the user's received power and REM of each reflection pattern to increase the coverage probability. Then, numerical simulations show that the proposed method can achieve the higher coverage probability than angular beam scanning when the response time of the IRS is long.
