An Accurate Imaging Algorithm with Dual-Path Propagation Loss for Monostatic System

摘要
An accurate image reconstruction algorithm is presented in this paper for a monostatic millimeter-wave imaging system. The proposed physical model treats the incident and scattered waves as spherical waves, and therefore incorporates the dual path propagation loss. The algorithm is derived from the more accurate mathematical model with proper consideration of wave propagation and scattering. Numerical data are used to verify the performances. And simulated results for the root mean square error (RMSE) and the structural similarity (SSIM) indicators confirm that the new algorithm is more accurate.
