Genetic Algorithm-Based Iterative Channel Parameter Estimation Method

摘要
Due to the limitations of the Global Positioning System (GPS) itself, such as the tendency to cause large positioning errors in adverse weather conditions, it is important to explore other positioning methods. Among these positioning methods, range-based positioning by estimating the time of arrival (ToA) of the line-of-sight (LoS) path has gained a great deal of attention. In this paper, a genetic algorithm-based iterative channel parameter estimation method is proposed, and simulation experiments demonstrate that the algorithm improves the accuracy of delay estimation compared with the space-alternating generalized expectation-maximization (SAGE) algorithm.
