Defect-engineered localized exciton in monolayer WSe2

摘要
Here, we demonstrate controlled defect engineering in monolayer WSe 2 via UV-ozone treatment. The creation of Tungsten oxyselenide (TOS) shows broad red-shifted PL emission centered at ~770 nm at room temperature.
