The Research on Network Optimization of Power Internet of Things System

The traditional power Internet of Things (IoT) system has many disadvantages of fixed and single networking mode, which limits application field because of insufficient robustness. Therefore, this paper proposes a set of intelligent perception platform based on LoRa network and 4G/NB-IoT network access. The proposed platform includes intelligent sensing terminal, gateway and network layer protocols, which can realize terminal and cloud platform interaction and multi-dimensional information monitoring. Unlike the traditional power IoT system, the system adopts dual-channel redundant entry and a completely new network layer protocol. It can greatly improve the dynamic structure of the network, make it equipped with fault diagnosis and self-assembling network capability, and improve the robustness and anti-interference of the power IoT system. The experimental results indicate that the proposed platform with dual-channel redundant entry and completely new network layer protocol can effectively improve the flexibility and robustness for distributed and self-organizing power IoT systems.
