Abstract
Traditional surface integral methods require both of equivalent electric current and magnetic current for calculating the scattering of dielectric objects. This paper proposes a method that needs a single current, which is using the differential surface admittance operator. Compared to the Poggio-Miller-Chang-Harrington-Wu-Tsai (PMCHWT) method, the number of unknowns is only half of the PMCHWT formulation, and it requires only a quarter of the memory consumption of the PMCHWT equation. In terms of numerical verification, the method has been improved with BC (Buffa-Christiansen) basis functions and the accuracy has been verified.
