摘要

A compact antenna for the LTE/WWAN operation is proposed in this paper, which is designed for unbroken full-metal rim mobile handset. The antenna is composed of two L-shaped slots on the ground and coupling microstrip feed line placed on the FR4 substrate. The two loops generate multiple nearby resonant modes to expand the antenna bandwidth. The final simulation results show that the proposed antenna operates in the GSM1800/GSM1900/ DCS/PCS UMTS 2100/LTE 2300 bands.
