An Optimization Method of Echo Reconstruction in Radio Frequency Simulation

The interrupted transmitting and receiving (ITR) has been used for target probing with pulse signal in radio frequency simulation (RFS). Recent studies show that the echo reconstruction process based on frequency domain filtering can avoid the distortion of the target range profile caused by ITR. However, this reconstruction method may fail under some parameters. To solve this problem, the optimized ITR and echo reconstruction method are proposed in this letter. Firstly, the theoretical derivation of the optimized ITR parameters is given. Secondly, the simplified echo reconstruction method based on frequency domain filtering is presented. Experiments show that optimized ITR and echo reconstruction method can significantly improve the reconstruction accuracy and obtain the target range profile compared to the traditional ITR.
