Compared with traditional low-voltage AC-powered lighting system, the low-voltage DC-powered lighting system had great advantages in safety, economy and power quality optimization. The main purpose of studying the line voltage drop and line loss calculation of the low-voltage DC-powered lighting system was to guide the engineering wiring design and engineering implementation through calculation, and to formulate a more reasonable engineering design budget. Based on the above objectives, a power supply line and load part of the low-voltage DC power supply lighting system were mathematically modeled, and the mathematical expressions of the line voltage drop and line loss were obtained through mathematical calculation. The correctness of the above mathematical expressions was verified by computer circuit simulations, and the error comparison analysis was carried out with the calculation method in the references. The error comparison analysis showed that the method in this paper had greatly reduced the calculation errors and had good versatility, which could guide the actual engineering design and implementation.
