DP-Based Signal Integration Method for High Speed Moving Target Detection With Bistatic MIMO Radar

Abstract
In order to solve the multi-channel signal coherent integration problem for high-speed target detection with bistasic MIMO radar, we propose a dynamic programming (DP)-based signal integration algorithm for improving radar detection performance. In this algorithm, we first utilize the Radon Fourier transform (RFT) to integrate the energy of high-speed targets in each channel, and then analyze the peak’s envelope and phase characteristics of each channel in the RFT domain. Based on the spatial geometry relationship between radar nodes and the target, the range-velocity domain DP based method is proposed to realize the coherent integration of multi-channel energy for the bistasic MIMO radar. Finally, the superiority of the proposed method is verified by simulation experiments.
