Pre-synchronization Control of Port Shore Power Grid Connected Inverter Based on VSG

In recent years, port shore power technology has received increasing attention due to its ability to reduce port pollution emissions. The large-scale use of new energy for grid connected power supply is a characteristic of port shore power, but this weakens the system inertia and damping of the shore power system. In order to ensure the stability and equipment safety of the shore power system, virtual synchronous generator control (VSG) is widely used in the control of grid-connected inverters, and precise pre-synchronization control is required before grid connection. For the control technology of VSG, this paper firstly establishes a simplified mathematical model of the VSG, as well as a control strategy that includes an active frequency control loop and a reactive voltage control loop. Secondly, pre-synchronization control is added to enhance the stability of the inverter when connected to the grid. Finally, the feasibility of VSG control for grid connected inverters with pre-synchronization is verified through simulation results based on the MATLAB/Simulink platform. The research results can provide reference for the control strategy of port shore power grid connected inverters.
