A Comparative Performance Analysis of OpenFlow based Network and Legacy Switching Network

In Today’s Modern and technical world with the advantages of practical way to experiment with new protocols, OpenFlow based Network are becoming exteremly popular. Because of basic characteristics of OpenFlow Technology, it focus on performance metrics. This paper presents and experimentally analyses the performance comparison between network with and without controller based on parameter metrics. Simulation results show the OpenFlow based Network can significantly improve the bandwidth between the system and delay (taking time to transmit packets between system).
