Research on noise control technology of 110kV indoor substation

With the rapid development of urbanization, the demand for electrical load increases, and more and more substation locations are located near residential areas. The ensuing noise problem has also attracted increasing public attention. In order to prevent the noise nuisance of 110 kV substation, different noise control schemes are designed based on the measured noise levels around the substation and the setting of control objectives. SoundPLAN is used to model and simulate the noise distribution around the 110 kV substation under different schemes. Finally, the optimal scheme of the glotte-flap, muffler and fan muffler is selected. The actual noise is controlled below 60 dB(A) during the day and 50 dB(A) at night.
