Abstract
Single-phase diode rectifiers are generally followed by electrolytic capacitors to form a DC voltage source, which can provide DC power to DC-DC converters as well as single or three-phase DC-AC converters. In this paper, with the help of MATLAB/Simulink, after abstracting the equivalent circuits of the detailed rectifier process $\mathbf{of}$ single-phase diode rectifier, the simulation analysis of the conduction phase and non-conduction phase within the operating process is performed, with constant resistance load, constant power load and constant current load, respectively. The relevant main voltage and current waveforms as well as the corresponding calculation formula are also provided. Some regular and valuable contents are summarized, which is helpful to further understand the working principle of diode rectifier. The relevant analysis methods can be applied to three-phase diode rectifier.
