Abstract
The cross-correlation peaks of the frequency-division orthogonal MIMO radar spatial synthesis signal show the fuzzy characteristics of “angle-delay”, which has the possibility of actively countering TDOA positioning. For the typical three-station TDOA positioning system, this article studies the anti-positioning performance of frequency-division orthogonal MIMO radar. By analysing the error influencing factors of time difference positioning, the cross-correlation output characteristics of frequency division orthogonal MIMO radar signals and the time difference estimation error under different modulations and different array parameters, the anti-positioning performance of MIMO radar under different modulations is compared and analyzed in combination with the CEP of TDOA positioning. The theoretical and simulation results show that MIMO radar has better anti-TDOA positioning performance than Phased Array radar. The array distance and frequency interval have a great influence on the anti-positioning performance of MIMO radar, and random initial phase modulation and random frequency modulation can affect the cross-correlation output characteristics, indicating that the waveform parameters have the possibility of further increasing the TDOA positioning error.
