摘要
The main objective of this paper is to study the integration of renewable energy sources in a block of buildings of the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca (TUCN), to reduce consumption costs. Feasibility studies and analysis will be carried out, having as technical application the design of a hybrid energy system with renewable sources, covering as much as possible of the total electricity demand. A 4kW photovoltaic system (PV) is already installed on the blocks of building, but it is not sufficient to meet the electricity needs of the building. Therefore, a hybrid energy system will be implemented to cover as much of the building's electricity demand as possible. The renewable energy sources used will be solar energy through a photovoltaic system and wind energy through a vertical axis wind turbine (WT). The proposed hybrid system configuration will be implemented in HOMER Pro software which allows a wide analysis along with techno-economic indicators of the different scenarios. Results and comparison are presented to highlight the feasibility of the proposed cases.
