Abstract
It is an important research area in the field of power system to conduct on-line security analysis on power system and obtain the system’s security margin in real time. With the large-scale access of renewable energy to the power system, the importance of auxiliary service to ensure the secure and reliable operation of the power system has become increasingly prominent in terms of security and economy. The real-time scheduling characteristics of power system are complex and there are many operational constraints, which puts forward higher requirements for the accuracy of security verification calculation. This paper aims to propose a fast security verification method for auxiliary service. Firstly, an analysis model and a fast solution method of thermal security region in multi-dimensional space are established. Then, considering the application requirements of practical engineering, the multi-dimensional security region representation on the two-dimensional plane considering the reserve availability is given to provide technical support for the security verification of auxiliary services.
