Mosaic Multi-Spectral Sensor Control and Drive System Design

At present, mosaic-coated cameras have important application prospects in the fields of industrial inspection, medical imaging, andUAV remote sensing. In view of the control and data drive problems of coated CMOS, a detector drive and data control system based on field editable gate array (FPGA) is designed in this paper. The system hardware platform adopts a separate structural design according to the system function division, which includes a detector driver board, an FPGA main control board, and an interface board. In addition, DDR3 is used to cache image frame information without data loss. At the same time, HDMI is used as the system image display output interface, while SD card is used for realtime storage of image data. As the core control of the system, FPGA adopts a distributed architecture based on PS+PL to realize CMOS drive, functional interface control, and a series of image data processing flows. Imaging experiments show that the image resolution of the system reaches 2048×2048, and the frame rate is stable at 60 fps, which realizes stable high-resolution and high-frame-rate imaging, and meets the design requirements of mosaic-coated multispectral cameras.
