Abstract
An end-to-end autoencoder-based transceiver for UAV-to-ground free space optical communication is proposed. Simulation results show $\sim 12 \mathrm{~dB}$ improvement compared to the PPM transmitter and $\sim 51.3 \%$ reduction of decoder’s running-time compared to the maximum likelihood receiver.
