A Semi-Analytical Computation Method for Conformal Space-Time Modulated Metasurface Design

摘要
In this work, a semi-analytical computation method for conformal space-time modulated metasurface is proposed. The space-time modulated metasurface with several discrete ports for diode analysis and Floquet ports for scattering analysis is simulated and the scattering matrix is extracted. Then microwave network theory is applied to obtain the reflection or transmission coefficient of the diode-loaded space-time modulated metasurface is obtained, which simplify the design flow. Finally, the reflection coefficient of a 3-bit phase adjustable conformal metasurface is calculated with full-wave simulation and the semi-analytical method, which validates the effectiveness of the proposed theory.
