A Lightweight and Precise Muzzle Velocity Measurement Method Based on Geomagnetic Sensor in Complex Environment

Muzzle velocity is one of the important parameters of projectile trajectory position and burst point control. In order to solve the problem of large interference deviation in the acquisition of muzzle velocity in an actual complex environment, a measurement method of muzzle velocity in the complex environment based on a geomagnetic sensor is proposed. This method carries out offline training before the projectile is launched on the projectile-borne geomagnetic sensor. The type of fitting function is determined by trajectory simulation of the projectile speed. The work on the line fits and converts the muzzle velocity test data according to the law to obtain the muzzle velocity. The simulation and experimental results show that the muzzle velocity measurement method can effectively improve the measurement accuracy of the muzzle velocity compared with the current method. This method's operation with high complexity is carried out offline, which is of great significance for the velocity measurement of the flying body limited by weak hardware.
