Live Demonstration: Low-Power Flexible Platform for Laser-Scribed Graphene Sensors

Abstract
Laser-scribed graphene-based sensors provide inherent flexible capabilities when fabricated in polyimide substrate. However, this capability is lost when paired with readout systems manufactured in rigid printed circuit boards. Using the same substrate during fabrication achieves a fully flexible approach with its circuitry and sensing material. Thus, a complete sensing system can be fabricated in the same material yielding a much faster and easier combination of the sensor and its interface. Furthermore, this flexible platform can be easily integrated into wearable applications, in which the conformation of the system provides comfort for the user creating a better experience when using the platform.
