Abstract
This paper presents a 75-90GHz driver amplifier for automotive radar application. The driver amplifier is implemented in 65nm CMOS technology. The circuit achieves gain of 7.1-10.1dB over 75-90GHz. A three order high pass filter is integrated for low frequency out-band signal suppression from frequency synthesizer. The simulation results shows that the insertion loss is less than 3dB. With the HPF, additional out -of band typical rejection in is better than 25dB. The chip area is only 174*400um, and the total DC power consumption is 41.8mw.
