A 28/39GHz Reconfigurable Vector-Sum Phase Shifter in 65-nm CMOS Technology

摘要
This paper presents a frequency-reconfigurable vector-sum phase shifter (VSPS) in the 65-nm CMOS process. Reconfigurable components are utilized in a quadrature all-pass filter (QAF) design to provide low-error orthogonal signals at two distinct frequency bands. This design achieves 0.5-2.7° and 1.2-1.6° root-mean-square (RMS) phase errors at 24-30GHz and 36-41GHz, respectively, covering n257, n258, and n260 bands in 5G communication. This phase shifter consumes 16.8mW with a core area of 0.0782 mm 2 .
