Multi-frequency High Isolation Antenna Pair for 5G Communication

A multi-frequency high isolation antenna pair for 5G communication is proposed. The antenna pair is designed on a dielectric substrate with a clearance area of 90mm×20mm. The antenna form of the antenna unit is a loop antenna. It excites four resonant modes of 0.5λ, 1λ, 1.5λ and 2λ. Its resonant frequency is 1.13 GHz, 2.78 GHz, 3.75 GHz and 4.68 GHz respectively. The working bandwidth of the antenna is 1.04GHz-1.36GHz, 2.635GHz-2.925GHz and 4.45GHz-5.25GHz, which can be well used in 5G communication band. The decoupling between antenna units is realized by opening cross-shaped floor slots, and the isolation degree between units reaches more than 12.5dB. After the simulation analysis in CST, the total efficiency of the antenna reaches more than 45%, and the antenna has good directivity, which is a good terminal antenna solution applied in 5G communication.
