Study on the Characteristics of Gaussian Beam Wander in Anisotropic Plasma Turbulence

In this paper, a mathematical representation describing the beam wander variance in hypersonic plasma turbulence is obtained from a model of the anisotropic power spectrum using Rytov and Markov approximation theory. The influence on the Gaussian beam wanders due to anisotropic plasma turbulence is simulated and analyzed. The results demonstrate that increasing the anisotropy of hypersonic plasma turbulence can considerably boost light's ability to communicate in this environment. And as the refractive index fluctuation variance, propagation distance, and curvature parameters enhance, the phenomenon of beam wander intensifies. On the contrary, the increase in turbulence outer scale and anisotropic factors effectively alleviates the turbulence effect and reduces the phenomenon of beam wander.
