Abstract
The high mortality rate among patients with moderate and severe COVID-19 has prompted humanity to create prognostic tools to determine the predictors of mortality and the effectiveness of ongoing therapy in order to timely correct the ongoing treatment and reduce mortality. The use of “off label” anticytokine drugs with the consent of the patient, as the leading direction in the pathogenetic treatment of moderate and severe forms of COVID-19, has saved more than tens of thousands of lives. Data on the comparative efficacy of dexamethasone, baricitinib, olokizumab and tocilizumab, as well as the availability of tools to predict the outcome of COVID-19 during anti-inflammatory therapy with these drugs, are not available in the published literature.
